What Actually Happens During Your Appointment (The No-BS Version)

Before We Arrive
You: Text or call with your document needs
Us: Confirm what you need, quote you a price, schedule your appointment
Total Time: Usually under 5 minutes
No complicated forms. No waiting for callbacks. No "let me check my calendar and get back to you."
The Actual Appointment (Usually 15-30 Minutes)
Step 1: ID Verification (2 minutes)
We check your government-issued ID.
Driver's license, passport, state ID, military ID—all work perfectly.
This isn't us being difficult; it's Illinois law protecting you from fraud.
Step 2: The Signing Conversation (3-5 minutes)
We confirm:
You understand what you're signing
You're doing this willingly
You're not being coerced or pressured
Again, this is legally required and honestly just good practice.
Step 3: Document Execution (5-15 minutes)
You sign in our presence.
For loan packages, this might take longer (75-125 pages is normal for a mortgage refinance).
For single documents, it's quick.
Step 4: Notarization (2-3 minutes)
We complete the notarial certificate, affix our official seal, and record everything in our journal. Every single notarization is documented.
Step 5: You're Done
Walk away with perfectly executed documents ready to file, submit, or use however you need.
After We Leave
Your documents are ready. We maintain detailed records (required by law). If questions arise later, we can provide documentation of exactly what was notarized, when, and by whom.
